“Reaping the Sheaves” was the second book that I wrote and self-published. In this book I share the various lessons I received from my spiritual mentors whom God blessed me with since the age of 15. At the age of 15, the first teacher who taught me lessons in meditation, hatha yoga, and remaining aligned with God and the scriptures, was one of my teachers in high school. His name is Michael Stevens. He could bend his body in ways that I still cannot attempt to do! He was not only teaching this way of life..he was living it. He established a Yoga Club at our high school (D.M. Therrell High School, Atlanta, GA).  He taught us various breathing techniques, meditation techniques, yoga positions and their purposes for the alignment of the body, mind, and spirit, and would take us on walks in the woods (right behind the high school) to meditate among the forest and listen to the frequencies that were buzzing in the trees. 

He taught us from the book, “The Autobiography of a Yogi,” by

Paramahansa Yogananda.  That was the beginning of my spiritual journey. I fell in love with God, with the Christ Yeshua, and learned more and more about the Christ Mind/Consciousness.

Since high school, God brought into my life more teachers who taught me how to manifest the things in my life that I needed to change for the better. In this book I discuss the following: Scientific Prayer, Angelic Assistance, Angelic Manifestation, Angelic Becoming, Visualization, Sowing to Manifest, Law of Metaphysics, Divine Manifestation, Manifesting Wellness, Ancestral Assistance, Prayers of Faith, and Ancestral Directive.  I share actual accounts of events in my personal life where each one of these techniques was utilized to either bless someone else or receive blessings into my life. You will see in this book how God manifests himself in so many forms. 

I loved writing this book and sharing the various lessons my spiritual mentors shared with me over the past 40+ years.  In addition to Mr. Michael Stevens who was my first teacher in spirituality, God also brought the following mentors into my life: Moreland Sparks, Baba Freeman El, Louvell Rouser, Bernard Lee, Dr. Lliala Afrika, and Drs. Muata and Karen Ashby. I must also mention my beautiful grandmother, Mrs. Rosalie Pazant, who was my hero, my best friend, and teacher about life and love. She taught me how to survive the darts and arrows that others throw at you out of jealousy, meanness, and trifleing behaviors. She taught me how to remain humble in life, she would say, “Out of 100% of the people whom you know, 25% like you for the right reasons, 25% like you for the wrong reasons, 25% don’t like you for the right reasons, and 25% don’t like you for the wrong reasons….Stay humble!”  Each one lifted me to another level from within myself wherein I was able to be nearer to the mind and heart of God.

By working with all of the above teachers, I was able to stay open to the guidance of God and pursue a life of, “Be Ye Holy, For I Am Holy.”  With all of my teachers, holiness was the goal, and love and forgiveness were the templates. There was never any attempt to teach abusing the love and forgiveness of Christ, but to take personal responsibility for my behaviors. I was taught to accept my spiritual gifts as a Seer and healer. I learned my place as a citizen of the Universe and a Child of God and that I am responsible for knowing the difference. I learned the power of prayer and the expectations that a child of God has a right to bear. I learned that my gifts are real and were described to me in detail as seen through prayer and outward confirmation. I learned how ancient teachings from Kemet could enhance my current life with daily ritual and prayers.

I learned how to visualize, call things into existence, and listen to the Holy Spirit and his guidance. I learned that nature works willingly with a child of God when answering prayers especially when it is for the good of humanity. I learned the importance of knowing the difference between worship God and not His creation. I learned that I could honor my Ancestors, respect the beauty of God’s creation such as his flowers, stones, and crystals, and appreciate the sun, moon, and the stars, but not to worship them. I learned to be thankful to God for all of these blessings, but I worship only One…the All…the Creator and Sustainer of the Universe and lover of my soul..God the Father and  Yeshua the Christ. His Holy Spirit is his comforter and the one who brings all things into remembrance, including reminding me that God is my source and keeping me focused on my spiritual goals.

We serve an awesome God and I share how He sustained me while working towards and achieving my Doctorate degree. I grieved the loss of ten…that’s right, ten close family members during the years I was in school. Now that I look back, I know that the only way that I survived was because God walked with me and blessed me with His strength.

It wasn’t a bed of roses and there were times I was very angry with God, but I survived. God did not give up on me and understood my grief, pain, and anger. I share all of this in this book, ‘Reaping The Sheaves.’ The lessons changed and saved my life and I pray that once you read this book, it will change your life for the better as well.
